Nature photography seemed as good a place as any to start. So, I threw my telephoto onto my Nikon and headed out to explore the wooded area near my apartment. It wasn’t long until I found deer tracks, and began following them through the snow until I found a family three fawns and their mother. I shot through the branches, getting as close as I could before they became skittish and ran off. After repeating this cycle of tracking and shooting, I eventually lost them entirely. I was lucky enough to spot a woodpecker on the way home though.
