Video is something that a lot of photographers are expected to be able to do, but most of them don’t enjoy it. And, while I find video cumbersome and time consuming, I am fascinated with it. Over the last two days, I’ve been playing with Final Cut Pro X, Windows Movie Maker, and even this new program I found called MonkeyJam to use for my video editing.
This video here is just me experimenting with different movie makers to see what sort of results I can get, with most of the work on this one taking place in Windows Movie Maker. I just used the material that I put together this last week to get a feel for what I can do with the program.
After editing with both Pro X and Movie Maker, I really can’t stand either of them. Most of my practice is on the older versions of Final Cut, and nothing else I’ve seen has measured up. In the meantime, I’m going to have to settle for what I have.
