I went out to try more wildlife photos, and thought that I would throw it through Illustrator. I played with a few different combinations of color and effects. Looking at all the variations, it feels almost like something Warhol would put together. Let me know which is your favorite in the comments down below.
I like the yellow the best, of course. I think the red on purple doesn’t have enough contrast between the two colors. They are both the same color value. Just my humble opinion.
Nice idea….but one big suggestion: Don’t use auto-trace. Actually go through and trace the image with the pen tool. It will take a long time, but the improvement in the quality will be worth it! If you actually DID use the pen tool, I apologize! But I can see a little bit of rough edges that remind me of auto-trace.
For me it’s a tossup between the yellow and the purple with the red bird and buds. I like the contrasting bird and especially the buds better than the silhouette all being the same color, but as someone else said, there needs to be a more/different contrast in the colors, IMHO.
My fave is definitely the black-and-white one, the one with the eye. Classic.
You know, that might be my favorite too. The eye was actually just me taking the eraser to the image in Photoshop.
